AUVERS - Olivia (early 13th Century) - She was the wife of Roland Huscarles, Lord of the manor of Purley Magna. In 1212 she claimed a dowry from the estate of Roland, having recently remarried. see D'Anvers

AYERS - Reginald Henry - Parish Councillor 5/1969 to 4/1979. Wrote gardening column for Purley Parish news for many years.
