Project Purley
Purley Church of England School
Purley Church of England School was founded in 1870 by the Reverend Richard Palmer. It became an aided school around 1902 when it came under the auspices of Berkshire County Educational Authority. For much of its life it was an Infant school with children aged eight transferring first to Pangbourne County School and then Long Lane School. It became a full age primary school in 2015.
