Project Purley
Tilehurst
Tilehurst is a very large area to the south of Purley part of which was incorporated into Reading Borough in 1911 and part which was then fields but which remained a separate parish and is now part of West Berkshire. Westwood and Denefield wards are adjacent to Purley and are very much interlaced with people and events in Purley. This section deals omly with the Parish of Tilehurst and not the incorporated part.
